A very healthy and high rich protein rice. It's all green. I just tried with my own ingredients and turned out to be very tasty.
1 cup Sprouts(sprouted green lentil)
1 1/2 cup Basmati rice
1 Capsicum (Bell Pepper)
2-3 pepper balls
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp Ginger paste
1 tsp butter
1 tsp Garam masala
salt to taste
coriander leaves 1/2 cup
Coconut 2 tbl spoon
Green Chillies 2-3 nos
Soak Basmati rice in lot of water
In a pan add butter,jeera,cloves,pepper,ginger paste and fry for till jeera splutters
Add onions and fry till golden brown
Add sprouts,capsicum and coriander paste and fry for five min
Add soaked rice,salt to the vegetables and stir for two minutes
Now add 3 cups of water and allow rice to cook
Sprouts pulao is ready.
Goes well with boondhi raita or any raita
This dish is very nutritious and simple to make. You can add peas or any alternate vegetables also.
