
Having a lot of green peas at home and have no idea as to do with. Well, here is an experiment that my mother suggested and i tried and had some good success with. Ever thought of making vadais out of peas? Unthinkable you say, well it is not. I tried it and even served them to a few guests and well it was not a runaway hit but it did evoke some good positive responses.
Here is the ingredients:1 cup dried green peas
2-3 Green chillies
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup of cut Onions (optional)
1/2 Asafoetida powder
How to make?- Soak the dired peas for 3-4 hours
- Grind the soaked peas,green chillies,salt,aseofotida coarsly(not too smooth)
- Do not add water while grinding
make flat round shape and fry in the oil till golden brown- It turns out crispy
