My idea was to make sweet puttu today. But i did not find proper ingredient at home for that.
Instead i made besan Laadu also called maa laadu in tamil.
- 1 cup Besan flour(kadalai Maav)
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Ghee
- cashews and raisins 3 spoons
- Fry besan four in a pan without any oil or ghee till the raw smell goes(approx for 10 min).
- Remove from the stove.
- Powder the sugar well and mix it with the flour.
- Fry the cashew and raisins till golden brown and add to the mixture.
- Slowly add the ghee and mix well.
- When it is mild hot itself make round shape ladoo.
- Enjoy eating besan ladoo.
