Ingredients
- 1 cup very thin Aval (Poha)
- 1 boiled and mashed potato
- 1 onion
- 1 tea spoon chilli powder
- 1/2 tea spoon asafeotida
- 1 tea spoon rice flour
- salt to taste
- water to make it a dough
- Oil to fry
- In a bowl mix the aval (poha), boiled and mashed potato,onion, chilli powder,salt, asafeotida and rice flour.
- Add water little by little and make it a thick dough.
- make into desired shapes and fry in oil till golden brown.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce or chutney.
Nice, quick snack....looks a little like ulli vada that is made in Kerala.
