7 Taste Utthappam|Mini Bites|BM#6

4th day of Blogging Marathon and was wondering what can i do today being a weekend.
Then suddenly was reminded of Saravana Bhavan's 7 taste utthappam. Just thought why don't i give it a try at home? Eventhough there are no kids to eat at my home. I just have an infant who has just started eating semi solids. But i thought of making them for my husband and me.
I am also sure all the kids will love and surely fit the theme Mini Bites.
Here goes the recipe. You can opt for any toppings you like. My toppings for 7 taste were,
Topping 1-> 1 tsp Tomato Chutney
Topping 2->1 tsp Corainder chutney

Topping 3->1 tsp Rasberry Jam
Topping 4->1 tsp Potato masala
Topping 5->1 tsp idli Chilli powder (Mulagai podi)
Topping 6->1 tsp onion and capsicum
Topping 7->1 small piece of cheese

Dosa batter 1-2 cup

Method: Make small size dosas and keep them in the plate. Spread each of topping one by one on every dosa. Only for Onion ,bell peppers,Chilli powder and cheese utthappam put the topping on the stove while making dosa. Serve hot for kids or adults they will love them.
Notes: Some might not like Jam. You can choose any other topping like white Coconut chutney.

Check out other Blogging Marathoners with their various other themes.

Sending this entry to Champa for Kid's Delight theme is 'Mini Bites'

  2. Love your toppings!

    Does Sarvana Bhavan serve utthappam with all those toppings? Will try it the next time I eat there. A friend of mine (bengali) is crazy about south indian food and when ever we go out, she wants to go to Sarvana Bhavan.
