After a long break, I am back to Srivalli's Blogging Marathon.
For this week i am doing baked or steamed snacks instead of frying. I tried baking these Muthias and they turned out really crisp and nice. This is very easy and quick to make also very healthy.
We all of us loved it at home.
Ingredients
3 table spoon Besan (kadalai maav)
3 table spoon Whole wheat flour/All purpose flour
1 table spoon kasoori methi leaves
1 tea spoon chilli powder
1 tea spoon turmeric powder
salt to taste
1 tea spoon jeera (cumin seeds)
1 table spoon oil (i used sesame oil)
water to knead the dough
Method
In a vessel add all the ingredients except water and mix well.
Add water slowly to form a thick dough.
Take small portions from the dough and flatten with your palm and place on the baking sheet.
Preheat oven to 400F
Once pre-heated,place it in the oven and bake it for 10-12 minutes until light brown and crispy.
Crispy muthias are ready to eat.
